Fall clean-up needs to wrap before our first hard frost, typically around October 5th in the Coeur d'Alene area, and includes a final mow down to about 2.5 inches to prevent snow mold from developing under the snowpack in neighborhoods like Riverbend, Prairie Falls, and The Highlands. Spring clean-up then clears whatever the winter left behind, cutting back dead growth and matted grass before new growth gets going.
