We raise our cutting height to 3 to 3.5 inches through the hottest stretch to shade the soil and protect the root zone, then bring it down to a final 2.5 inch cut in late October to keep matted, wet grass from developing snow mold under our winter snowpack.

Most Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene lawns do best on a weekly mow from May through August, when Kootenai County's warm, dry summers push fast growth, then a bi-weekly schedule works fine in April, September, and October as growth slows.
What height should my grass be cut?
We mow most North Idaho lawns between 2.5 and 3.5 inches, longer in the heat of July and August to shade the roots and hold soil moisture, then down to 2.5 inches for the final cut of the season to prevent snow mold under our heavy winter snowpack.
Do you offer weekly or bi-weekly service?
Yes, we offer both weekly and bi-weekly mowing plans, and we'll recommend the right frequency for your lawn based on its grass type, sun exposure, and irrigation during your free estimate.
Is edging and trimming included with mowing?
Yes, every mow visit includes weed-eating along fence lines and beds, edging of walkways and driveways, and full cleanup by blowing clippings off hard surfaces.
Do I need to be home for my mow visit?
No, you don't need to be home. As long as gates are unlocked and pets are secured, our crew handles the full visit and you'll never notice we were there except for the lawn.
